Have you ever lost the wheel in a corner?
You’re right there… and suddenly you’re gapped.Let’s fix that.
Here’s how to corner smoother, faster, and stay connected every time.
STEP 1: Check your surroundings
Before the corner, scan your environment.
Look for cars, riders, potholes, gravel, or cracks.
The more you see, the more confidently you can commit to your line.
STEP 2: Open up the corner
If the road is clear, move diagonally away from the apex before you turn in.That diagonal setup:
1. Keeps your bike moving forward.
2. Keeps your balance stable.
3. Makes you predictable to others.
This sets up a smoother, faster line every time.
STEP 3: Brake BEFORE the turn
Scrub your speed before you lean in.
Enter the corner feeling almost too slow.
It’s always better to roll in slower and accelerate out
than to come in too hot and have to brake through the exit.
STEP 4: Eyes and line
As you enter, lock your eyes on the apex.
Inside knee out, bike drops in.
Your handlebar angle should match where you’re looking.
When these two connect you glide through perfectly.
STEP 5: Shift your weight
As you carve through, move your weight to the outside.
1. Press down on your outside pedal.
2. Move your head slightly over your outside handlebar.
This gives you grip, control, and confidence.
STEP 6: Nail the exit
Right as you hit the apex, shift your eyes to the exit.
If it’s clear, accelerate and hold your line.
When you time it right, you’ll feel stable, smooth, and fast.
Too early or too late? You’ll drift wide.
Perfect it and you’ll flow through every corner.
Corner smart. Stay connected. Carry more speed.
That’s how you ride CINCH smooth.
